Using Your Heated Clothing
How does heated clothing work?
A rechargeable battery powers heating elements built into the item. These elements provide warmth in specific areas, while the fabric helps retain it. The heating layout varies by product, so check the individual product page to see where each style provides heat.
How do I turn it on?
Charge the specified battery, connect it securely, and place it in the designated battery pocket. Then use the power button to activate the heating system. Follow the instructions included with your item for the exact activation steps.

Can I adjust the heat?
Our heated apparel offers high, medium, and low settings. Use the controls on your item to choose a comfortable level, and reduce the heat as you warm up. Button layouts and indicator lights can differ between styles; refer to your product’s instructions.
Do heated vests and jackets heat the entire garment?
No. Heating elements are positioned in selected areas rather than throughout the entire garment. Check the heating-area description for your chosen heated vest or heated jacket. Product illustrations showing colored heating areas are diagrams of the heating layout.
Why is my item not heating?
First, check that the battery is charged and the cable is fully connected. Follow the activation instructions and allow a little time for the heating elements to warm up. For heated gloves and heated socks, check the battery connection and control on each side.
If the problem continues, switch the item off and email service@cozycorewear.com with your order number, product name, and a description of what happens when you try to turn it on.
Batteries & Charging
Is a battery included?
Check the What’s Included section on your chosen product page. It lists the battery or batteries supplied with that item, along with any other included accessories.
How long does the battery last?
Runtime depends on the product, battery capacity, heat setting, and conditions of use. Higher settings use more power; lower settings generally run longer. See the Heating & Runtime information on the individual product page for its estimated hours of use.
Runtime figures for one heated vest, pair of gloves, or other item should not be applied to a different model.
Can I use the same battery with different Cozy Core products?
Do not assume batteries are interchangeable. Different items may require different voltage, output, or connector specifications. Use the battery specified for your model, even if another battery appears to fit.
If you need a replacement, contact us with the name of your product before ordering.
How should I charge the battery?
Disconnect the battery from the item and follow the charging instructions supplied with it. Use the specified charging equipment, and check the battery’s indicator to confirm when charging is complete. Charging time varies by battery and charger.
Can I use my heated clothing while the battery is charging?
Do not use the heating system while charging its battery. Disconnect the battery from the item before charging.

Sizing & Everyday Wear
How do I choose my size?
Use the size chart for the specific product you are buying. Compare its measurements with your own, and check whether the chart lists body measurements or garment measurements. Sizes can differ between styles.
For a heated vest or jacket, consider what you plan to wear underneath. Leave enough room to move comfortably without choosing a fit that feels tight across your chest or shoulders.
Can I wear a heated vest over a sweater?
Yes. Our heated vests can be layered over a shirt or light sweater. If you prefer thicker layers underneath, compare the product’s measurements with a similar garment you already own before choosing your size.
Can heated socks be worn inside boots?
Check that your footwear leaves enough room for the socks without squeezing your feet. The cuff and battery pocket should also sit comfortably without pressure from the boot. If the fit feels tight, do not force it.
Are all Cozy Core products waterproof?
No. Weather protection varies by product, and water-resistant fabric is not the same as waterproof construction. Check the individual product description before wearing an item in wet conditions, and keep batteries and electrical connections dry.
Cleaning & Storage
Can I wash my heated clothing?
Follow the care label and instructions for your specific item. Some garments allow machine washing, while other products require a different cleaning method. Do not apply one product’s washing instructions to every heated item.
Always disconnect and remove all batteries before cleaning. Never wash or immerse a battery.
When can I reconnect the battery after cleaning?
Wait until the item and its electrical connections are completely dry. Follow the drying instructions on the care label before reconnecting the battery or switching on the heat.
How should I store my heated clothing?
Switch off the heating system, disconnect the battery, and make sure the item is clean and dry before storing it. Avoid sharply folding or crushing areas containing heating elements or cables. Follow the battery’s own instructions for storage between uses.
Orders, Delivery & Returns
Where do you ship, and how long does delivery take?
Visit our Shipping Policy for delivery coverage, processing times, shipping charges, and estimated delivery windows. Allow for both order processing and transit time when planning your purchase.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, look for your shipping confirmation email with tracking details. If you cannot find it, check your spam folder or contact us with your order number.
Can I exchange an item for another size?
Eligible items may be exchanged under our Exchange Policy. Contact us before sending anything back so we can provide the correct instructions. Keep the original packaging and included accessories while checking the fit.
How do I request a return or report a faulty item?
Email service@cozycorewear.com with your order number and the reason for your request. If an item arrives damaged or does not work as expected, include clear photos or a short video showing the issue where possible.
